Three Trees

projects \ logo identity

The Three Trees is an etching by the Dutch painter Rembrandt and was produced in 1643. Often considered his most accomplished artwork in this style, it depicts three trees against a background of a highly varied sky. Some commentators also seek an underlying representation as has often been suggested, from viewing the motif of the trees as an evocation of the three crosses on Calvary.
Getting inspired from the painting we tried to recreate the same lyrical and magical quality in the logo identity for a private art gallery.
