Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a four year graduate Programme spread over eight semesters. Diploma in Pharmacy(D.Pharm) is a two years diploma programme with 500 hours of hospital training. The Programme is affiliated to Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. It helps to train the student to play an important role in Hospital / Community Pharmacy, Industrial, Herbal and Clinical Pharmacy.

Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics , Chemistry and Biology or Maths ( PCM / PCB/PCMB)

NIOS/ OPEN SCHOOL CANDIDATES ARE ELIGIBLE

The candidate should have passed in 10+2 examination (with minimum 50% marks) conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/ Open School education system of the Central Government / State Governments with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Career Options: The registered Pharmacist may work at drug stores in Government Hospitals, Private Hospitals, Clinics, Community Health Centers or Private Drug Stores. They may even start their own Pharmacy shop (Entrepreneurship) and online Pharmacy. Pharmacist can also work as Medical sales Representative and as Manufacturing and Quality Control Chemist in Pharmaceutical Industries.

Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy: Pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.

1) Intermediate examination in Science;
2) The first year of the three year degree course in Science,
3) 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science from recognized Board / Open School education system of the Central Government / State Governments
4) Pre degree examination;

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination
