Introduction of the Institution
Rise Max College of Education, Faridabad is affiliated to YMCA Science and Technology University is being run by "Rawal Educational and Welfare Society" by its founder President, Mr. Dharam Singh Chhoker with the objectives of social, educational and economic upliftment of society. This institution is recognized by the NCTE vide letter no.F7/HR-3416/3650 dated 25th December 2006 (for 100 seats of B.Ed. course), and letter no.NRC/NCTE/F-7/HR-547/2007/29177 dated 28th September 2007 (for additional intake of 100 seats in B.Ed. course).
The college is situated in district Faridabad and has 200 students and 17 faculty members. It has high quality infrastructure consisting of library, different labs and provision of indoor as well as outdoor games. The college has taken upon itself a great deal of social responsibility to provide the best in terms of academics, extra curricular activities, infrastructure and environment as a whole. The institution provide an environment which is fully conducive to all academic pursuit while offering many faculty development scheme for the teachers to participate in National and International Conferences. Presently there is 6 Ph.D. holders as faculty in the institution. Also one faculty member has been registered for Ph.D. programme. The overall staff student ratio in the institution is 1: 11 and is one of the best in self-financing college. The institution situated on a piece of land measuring 3.25 acres and has a built up space of 2750 sq.mtrs.
